  • This workshop was intended to benefit the handloom weavers in terms of increasing their understanding of the handloom schemes provided by the government, changes in the sector, and the need to respond to the market needs.

  • Know Handloom Campaign, 4-5th March, 2005, Kadapa Govt. Polytechnic College for Women, Kadapa


  • Know Handloom Campaign, 8th Feb, 2005, Sir C.R. Reddy Women's College, Eluru


  • The objective of this campaign was to enable the students to understand the importance of handloom production and the problems of the handloom weavers. It was primarily to make them more aware about the technology of the handloom and also the socio-economic conditions of handloom weavers and also the need to understand the Indian heritage. This Campaign was organized in the form of competition (essay writing, drawing and elocution) and lecture methods. It was huge success with many girls participating in the event.

  • Medicine distribution for Japanese encephalitis-affected children, 4th December, 2000, Narayankhed


  • Awareness and medical camp, 17th December, 2000, Narayankhed, Medak district


  • Rally and meeting on "Impact of Air Pollution", as part of National Environmental Campaign 1999-2000, on 15th Feb'2000

    This programme was supported by Union Ministry of Environment, government of India, as part of the National Environmental Campaign 1999-2000, through Deccan Development Agency, Hyderabad. It was organized in Secunderabad. The programme included interaction with students, parents, teachers, police and vehicle drivers. Prominent participants included Prof. Ramkisthaiah, former Vice Chancellor, Osmanai University, Prof. K. Pursuthotham Reddy, Osmania University and Sri. Koteshwar Reddy, Amaravathi Grammar High School. A booklet on "Air Pollution Control" was released on the occasion.


  • Survey of women and child welfare, Narayankhed, September, 1999


  • Tree plantation, 5th October, 1998, Hyderabad


  • Three day Bicycle campaign against Industrial pollution, 28-30 June, 1998, Hyderabad

    This programme was organized as part of three day environmental education camp, supported by Academy of Gandhian Studies, New Nallakuta, Hyderabad. The bicycle campaign trail passed through Bollarum, Khajipalli, Jeedimetla and Kukatpally. It was flagged off by Prof. K. Purushotham Reddy, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
